DESCRIPTION:We show that supersymmetric supergravity solutions with an R-s
ymmetry Killing vector are equipped with a set of equivariantly closed for
ms. The Berline-Vergne-Atiyah-Bott fixed point theorem can then be used&nb
sp\;to compute various holographic observables\, including central charges
\, on-shell actions and black hole entropies\,&nbsp\;without solving the s
upergravity equations. These results explain many results in the literatur
e and allow oneto compute many new results for solutions that are unlikely
ever to be constructed in explicit form.
