  brilliant war-time study: Woman in Art: From Type to Personality\n\nIn a 
 beautiful new edition\, in full colour\, framed by biographical essays on 
 the author and critical readings of a brilliant\, but little known contest
 ant of Gombrich’s 1951 all-male ‘his-story’ of art\, Griselda Polloc
 k reveals a much longer history of transdisciplinary feminist cultural ana
 lysis through her analysis of Helen Rosenau’s ‘little book’ of 1944.

 and CVC Chair Dr Amy Tobin\, join Professor Pollock for an evening convers

 on.\n\nSpeaker Biography\n\nGriselda Pollock is Professor Emerita of Socia
 l and Critical Histories of Art at the University of Leeds and 2020 Laurea
 te of the Holberg Prize for her contribution to feminist art histories.\n\
