h the multifractal model and the Navier-Stokes equations - John Gibbon (Im
 perial College London)

DESCRIPTION:The incompressible Toner-Tu (ITT) equations are one of the com
monest flocking models in the area of active matter. They possess certain
invariance properties which lead to an intriguing correspondence with both
the Navier-Stokes equations (NSEs) and the multifractal turbulence model
of Parisi and Frisch (1985). In this talk we will display a variety of bot
h 2D and 3D computations of the ITT equations performed in collaboration w
 ith Kiran\, Padhan and Pandit: see Physica D\, vol 444\, 133594 (2023).
