DESCRIPTION:The Internet and mobile phones: these are the two key developm
 ents that have transformed the way we communicate in the last 20 years. Ye
 t until recently\, they haven’t had much to do with each other. That is 
 no longer the case\, and the same IP-based equipment increasingly asked to
  power both networks. But souping up the humble router to enable this tran
 sition raises many interesting technical challenges. \n\nThis talk is an a
 ccessible introduction to large-scale mobile networking today\, from both 
 real-world and computer science perspectives. \n\nThe presenter is CTO of 
 Ensoft Ltd\, whose experience includes helping to bring into existence the
  Guinness Book of Records' "World's Highest Capacity Internet Router".
