DESCRIPTION:The very first of the Branching Out seminar series\, organise
 d by Emilio Aldorino\, will be held on the 26 January at 13:00 in the SLCU
  Auditorium). The external speaker will be research scientist\, presenter
  and author Lewis Dartnell\, whose talk is titled 'Astrobiology and Scien
 ce Writing'.\n\nThe talk will bridge his academic research in astrobiology
  (and a new project looking at how plants could be grown in Martian soil i
 n pressurised greenhouses to help support human missions) and his outreach
  work and talking a bit about the role of science communication alongside
