DESCRIPTION:Musicians often talk about playing together in small groups an
 d experiencing ‘special’ communication with their fellow musicians. Th
 is ‘special’ communication experience is reported by musicians from al
 l genres. This seminar reports and examines empirical research that invest
 igated this phenomenon with a jazz sextet and a string quartet.\n•The th
 eoretical framework leading to the proposal of  Empathetic Creativity\n•
