DESCRIPTION:Pam will talk about the film 'Fish Tank' directed by Andrea Ar
 nold in 2009.\nShe will be assuming that you have seen the film (Education
  Faculty Library\nhas a dvd\, as does Homerton Library). She will be conti
 nuing one of the\nthemes of the Adolescence seminars - that of 'lost youth
 '.  She will discuss\nthe film in terms of naturalism (a term borrowed fro
 m Literary Theory)\, and\nin terms of film history\, with some reference t
 o Ken Loach's naturalist\nfilms and also to British New Wave films. Pam te
 aches 'Fish Tank' on the\nFilm\, Culture and Identity course within the Fa
 culty of Education\, so will\nalso indicate how this film figures on this 
 particular course.
