DESCRIPTION:The advent of camera-based measurements like Digital Image cor
 relation (DIC) and ultra-high speed imaging (submicrosecond interframe tim

 ests of materials. The underpinning idea is the use of acceleration fields
  as a volume-embedded load cell. The presentation will give an\, overview
