DESCRIPTION:In recent years the accuracy of PDF determinations has signifi
 cantly improved due to a combination of experimental and theoretical devel
 opments. In this talk\, I will discuss recent progress towards the extensi
 on of the PDF determination to approximate N3LO in QCD and NLO in QED\, an
 d their phenomenological implications for a number of LHC processes. I wil
 l also present a simultaneous extraction of the strong coupling constant a
 nd the PDFs based on the global NNPDF4.0 dataset\, taking correlations bet
 ween them into account.
