DESCRIPTION:I will talk about Koll&aacute\;r-stability for families of var
 ieties\, based on joint work with Fedorchuk and Krylov. Beyond that\, I di
 scuss explicit cases and what the stability implies if one allows base cha
 nge. Choosing the right stability condition makes fruitful connections to 
 K-stability\, which I will explore. Time allowing\, I demonstrate some exa
 mples in the K-moduli of Fano threefolds.
