DESCRIPTION:Last week\, we have encountered the problems which motivate th
 e need for global Kuranishi charts. This week we will look at various oper
 ations on global Kuranishi charts\, which give different presentations of 
 equivalent derived orbifolds. This flexibility is important in the constru
 ction of global Kuranishi charts. If time permits\, we will give an overvi
 ew of the constructions by Abouzaid-McLean-Smith\, Hirschi-Swaminathan or 
 Bai-Xu. This illustrates that global Kuranishi are not merely an aesthetic
  presentation but are of great usefulness in practice.  \n\nAnd so\, my fe
 llow symplectic topologists: ask not what global Kuranishi charts can do f
 or you — ask what you can do for global Kuranishi charts.
