 olds the Wheatley-Georgia Research Alliance Chair in Water Quality and Env
 ironmental Systems. He will address the the challenge of how to re-enginee
 r the infrastructures of cities — in particular\, those associated with 
 the water\, energy\, and nutrient metabolisms of the city — so that the 
 city might become a net contributor to ecosystem services in the watershed
  in which it sits.
