DESCRIPTION:A number of interesting anomalies have been hinted at by neutr
ino experiments. One of the most compelling has been the LSND-MiniBooNE Lo
w Energy Excess (LEE) of electron-like events in a muon neutrino beam. The
MicroBooNE experiment is a liquid argon time-projection chamber experimen
t with a strong ability to understand this excess. MicroBooNE has been col
lecting physics data since 2015\, and is now a real-world case study of th
e powerful potential of LArTPC technology. In this talk\, I will discuss t
he results of the MicroBooNE data analysis focused on the low-energy elect
 ron-like excess search\, using both electron-like and photon hypotheses\,
as well as fitting these to a 3+1 sterile neutrino model.
