DESCRIPTION:Gravitational instantons are solutions to the four-dimensional
  Einstein equations in Riemannian signature which give complete metrics an
 d asymptotically ‘look-like’ flat space. In late 1970s it was conjectu
 red that the only asymptotically flat gravitational instantons belong to t
 he family of Riemannian Kerr solutions. This conjecture is now known to be
  wrong\, and I shall present a twistor construction of the counterexamples
 :  a two—parameter family of toric Ricci flat metrics found by Chen and
  Teo.
