DESCRIPTION:Please note this talk is online only.\n\nThe focus of this lec
 ture will be on privacy and cyber-security issues raised by extracting mob
 ile data for evidential purposes. Firstly\, we will provide an overview of
  our TAS funded project “Trustworthy and useful tools for mobile extract
 ion” led by Helena Webb. We will also describe in short how the UK crimi
 nal justice system uses digital data and the impact it had to all the acto
 rs of the criminal system. Secondly\, we will discuss the key issues and c
 hallenges in this context from the digital forensics’ perspective. Final
 ly\, we will analyse the current legal framework regarding mobile extracti
 on phone data for evidential purposes. Emphasis will be given to the data 
 protection and human rights framework and the challenges of new UK law (Po
