DESCRIPTION:In this seminar\, I will explore the key concepts of leptogene
sis and its potential to address two fundamental open questions: the origi
n of tiny neutrino masses and the observed matter-antimatter asymmetry of
the Universe. I will provide an overview of the type-I seesaw mechanism an
d discuss various scenarios of leptogenesis\, spanning energy scales from
the low GeV range to as high as 10^12 GeV. Additionally\, I will highlight
how experimental probes can illuminate these scenarios\, offering deeper
insights into the fundamental nature of the Universe.
