DESCRIPTION:This talk will discuss Mascolo's team's work on the use of dat
 a from microphones of wearables and smartphones for health diagnostics and
  progression.\nWe will concentrate on the potential of sounds in the conte
 xt of respiratory health with examples of work in the context of COVID-19 
 (https://covid-19-sounds.org/) as well as respiratory tract infection prog

 ngoing work in the context of cardiovascular health will also be discussed
 . The talk will also focus on research on in-ear microphones (in earables)
