DESCRIPTION:Advanced light microscope techniques like SIM allow us to see 
 structures in biological cells with ~100 nm resolution\, but there are man
 y practical constraints to using these expensive\, delicate and bulky inst
 ruments. The SIMple microscope aims to address these limitations by re-eng
 ineering the optics to enable imaging in "unconventional" environments\, b
 eyond the traditional well-funded optics laboratory or imaging facility.\n
