DESCRIPTION:Neutrino oscillations have the potential to answer some of the
highest priority open questions in particle physics\, such as why is ther
e a matter-antimatter asymmetry in the universe\, and where does the flavo
ur structure of the standard model come from. T2K and NOvA individually ha
ve the world’s leading single-experiment precision on several of the par
ameters of the PMNS neutrino oscillation model. Combining the data from th
ese two experiments not only increases their statistical power\, but allow
s degeneracies present in the individual data sets to be lifted. This talk
will describe the results of the first combination of these two data sets
 .
