 ical dynamical systems introduced by Guentner\, Willett\, and Yu in 2017. 
 Since its inception it has found many applications to the structure theory
  of C*-algebras as well as homology and K-theory. In this talk I will disc
 uss some aspects of this dimension theory and its applications to C*-algeb
