DESCRIPTION:I'll start with the story of how I got into AI as a medical do
 ctor\, then share the story of OSAIRIS\, which my best example of taking a
 n AI application from concept through to clinical deployment. I'll also ta
 lk about two pieces of work where I take my expertise in clinical AI appli
 cations and go in the reverse direction. The first is my work on discovery
  research using AI at Microsoft\, and the second is my work on the STELLA 
 project\, where I am designing a new AI-powered radiotherapy machine for l
 ow- and middle-income countries where there is an enormous gap in radiothe
 rapy for cancer control. This will include some insights on crossing Techn
