DESCRIPTION:N = 4 Super Yang-Mills with flavour can be studied at strong c
 oupling by introducing light D7-branes into AdS_5 x S^5. In this talk\, I
will discuss a generalisation of this result where the mass now depends ho
lomorphically on position. I will show that these are given by holomorphic
embedding functions for the D7-branes and\, moreover\, they are BPS and s
olve the DBI equations of motion exactly. I will discuss both the supergra
vity and field theory interpretations of this result and understand the BP
S condition from spacetime and worldvolume perspectives. I will conclude b
y showing how this result can be generalised to different supergravity bac
kgrounds and classify which spacetimes admit such solutions.
