DESCRIPTION:Despite nearly two decades of intense study and a good underst
anding of the ground state physics\, the effect of interactions on Anderso
n localization at high energy remain debated\, even in one dimension. Can
localization persist\, giving rise to a genuine non-ergodic many-body loca
lized phase? After recalling the main question and highlighting some eleme
nts of the current state of the field\, I will share two short stories. Th
e first will focus on an instability in the somewhat overlooked regime of
weak interactions\, and the second on large two-body correlations signalin
g long-range cat-like states deep in the many-body localized regime.
