DESCRIPTION:Len Fisher is famous for his talks and books describing the sc
 ience of everyday life. Some of the most important equations in science ha
 d their origins in the observation of everyday phenomena\, such as Galileo
 's equation for the speed of a ball rolling down a hill\, or equations for
  heat transport\, whose historical origins go back to the day when Count R
 umford burned his mouth on a hot apple pie.\nSince Len Fisher is aware tha
 t some people may have problems with their maths\, Dr Fisher plans to give
  more user-friendly information. How physical equations can be used to und
 erstand and optimize the process of biscuit dunking will be explained in t
