DESCRIPTION:This is a work-in-progress talk on estimating the shape and po
se of a human head in multiple images. In a previous talk I discussed a ne
w Bayesian feature localisation method\, applied to locating irises in an
image of a face. By retraining this method on other facial features and lo
calising these features in multiple images of the same person\, it is poss
ible to compute a probabilistic estimate of (a) the shape of a persons hea
d\, i.e. relative locations of features on the face\, and (b) the head pos
 e\, consisting of 3-dimensional location and rotation.\n\nhttp://www.infer
