DESCRIPTION:Virtualisation is a 'hot' topic these day\, particular with re
 spect to Cloud-computing and data-centres. This talk looks at virtualisati
 on with respect to data communications and how such concepts can be applie
 d to network equipment and operations. The talk will also look at a new ne
 twork virtualisation environment currently under development by Juniper Ne
 tworks.\n\nBio: Joel Obstfeld is a member of Juniper Networks Infrastructu
 re Product\nGroup¹s CTO team currently working on the development of Œne
 twork virtualisation\ntechnologies¹. Prior to working at Juniper\, Joel w
 as with Cisco Systems\,\nwhere as a leader of a global team within the Cor
 e Router Business Unit\, he\nworked closely with key Service Provider cust
 omers around the world on\nqualification\, deployment and operation of pro
 ducts running the IOS-XR\noperating system as well as driving key learning
  points from field\nexperience back into the engineering organisation. He 
 was the lead\ndeveloper\nand presenter of the advanced-level training cour
 se on CRS-1 and IOS-XR.\n
