DESCRIPTION:Inkjet printing\, enhanced and combined with functional fluids
 \, is beginning to be used to produce products as diverse as electronic ci
 rcuits\, bone implants and anti-counterfeit product labelling. Functional 
 fluids are fluids that undergo some form of phase transformation to produc
 e functional structures\, built up layer by layer\, using inkjet printing 
 as a micro-dispenser for the fluids. The talk will look at the potential f
 or these methods and also at some of the challenges that will be involved 
 in realising them in practice.
