DESCRIPTION:I will present a simple construction showing that every abstra
 ct clone (equivalently\, mono-sorted Lawvere theory) can be represented as
  the clone of equivariant functions on a monoid action.\n\nThe method does
  not seem adaptable to the representation of operads\; though\, aiming in 
 this direction\, I will give a characterisation of the operadic abstract c
 lones.
