DESCRIPTION:\nThe Basic Statistics Reading Group seeks to be a forum for g
 rad and undergrad students at Cambridge who are new to statistics. The aim
  is to:\n\n    * weekly meet and discuss chapters of Wooldridge: Introduct
 ory Econometrics (2nd ed.)\n    * invite lecturers for specific topics\n  
   * discuss each others quantitative research designs.\n\nThe group was fo
 unded by a PhD student at Politics. However\, the approach is interdiscipl
 inary and students from Economy\, Sociology and Psychology\, as well as Co
 mputer Science and Maths or other Departments and Institutes are welcome t
