DESCRIPTION:According to the Standard Model\, top quark pair production at
  the Fermilab Tevatron proton-antiproton collider should exhibit a small f
 orward-backward asymmetry\, of the order of 5%.   The CDF Collaboration ha
 s recently reported an asymmetry that is significantly larger\, approachin
 g 50% at high values of the pair invariant mass.  The talk will discuss th
 e experimental results\, some suggested explanations\, and the prospects f
 or clarification at the Large Hadron Collider.
