DESCRIPTION:R is a free\, open source software environment that becomes in
 creasingly popular among researchers. This session aims at demystifying th
 e use of Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) in R by providing a basic intr
 oduction to its syntax and commands. After a brief overview of the R inter
 face\, a step-by-step walk-through of the CFA package will be presented\, 
 using real examples. Finally\, common problems that could be encountered w
 hile using CFA with R will be discussed. No prior knowledge of R is necess
 ary.
