DESCRIPTION:In this talk we will discuss a general concept of statistical\
nmultiscale analysis in the context of signal detection and imaging. \nThi
s provides a large class of fully data driven regularisation methods. We\n
address computational issues as well as the required extreme value theory
of\nthe multiscale statistics. \n A major example will be locally adaptiv
 e total variation regularization\nfor deconvolution problems.\nOur method
is applied to problems from nanoscale biophotonic cell\nmicroscopy.
