DESCRIPTION:I am proud to announce that at the next women@CL speaker lunch
  we will be welcoming Dr Robert Mullins to talk about the Raspberry Pi Fou
 ndation\, and of course\, the computer that has been causing such a big st
 ir!\n\nDate: Thursday 26th April 2012\nTime 1pm - 2pm\nPlace: FW26\nLunch
 will be provided\n\nWe are expecting a large turnout so please email jcu21
 @cl.cam.ac.uk for a place.\n\nRaspberry Pi Foundation :\nThe Raspberry Pi
 Foundation is a UK registered charity that aims to promote the study of co
 mputer science and electronics at the school level.\n\nThe Raspberry Pi Co
 mputer:\nOur first project is a flexible low-cost computer. It provides an
  ideal environment for experimenting with programming and electronics. The
  computer is credit-card sized\, fanless\, starts quickly and consumes at
 most a few watts of power. It costs 22 pounds/$35 for the Model-B (15 poun
 ds/$25 for Model-A).\nOf course there are numerous other applications for
 a powerful and low-cost computer including helping to close the digital di
 vide. It can also be seen as a simple\, open and general-purpose digital b
 uilding block for incorporating into larger systems\, e.g. that need to dr
 ive a display\, communicate or compute.\n\nFor more information about Rasp
 berry Pi: http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~rdm34/raspi/\n\n
