DESCRIPTION:In sub-Saharan Africa\, educators have been reported to engage
  in didactic teaching by mainly presenting facts without providing opportu
 nities for discussions that relates to learners’ experiences.  Hence the
  aim of the study was to explore how educators’ preparation can be impro
 ved in a context in which resources are limited.  In this talk\, I will ou
 tline some of the challenges identified and possible interventions that we
 re trialled at the site.
