DESCRIPTION:A look at the research BT is investing in protecting and under
 standing its networks as data volumes grow and cyber threats become increa
 singly sophisticated.\n\nGroup Engineering Services (GES) is a business un
 it within BT Security that operates as a medium-sized enterprise.  In its 
 direct customer-facing role\, GES undertakes a sizeable amount of research
 \, current areas of which include: visualisation of massive data sets\, sc
 alable multicore mesh architectures\, real-time data processing and invest
 igations into security vulnerabilities.\n\nAlthough this talk is aimed at 
 students (members of the GES team will be around afterwards to chat about 
 recruitment possibilities) all are welcome to come along.
