SUMMARY:Some thoughts on multi-parameter evidence synthesis - Mr. Guobing

DESCRIPTION:This will be a mixture of problems\, remarks\, argumentations\
, as\nwell as stupid ideas\, around the Bayesian modelling for multiple pa
rameter\nevidence synthesis. In a general framework\, evidence pieces from
different\nsources are synthesized through a parametric synthesizer\, whi
ch consists\nof a set of relationships between parameters built on our bac
kground\nknowledge. The talk will be focused on some fundamental propertie
s of the\nsynthesizer\, such as model identifiability\, parameter redundan
 cy\, evidence\ninconsistency\, synthesis intensity\, etc. The illustrative
examples are\ntaken from ordinary univariate or multivariate meta-analysi
 s\, mixed\ntreatment comparisons\, and generalised evidence synthesis.
