DESCRIPTION:My talk will be devoted to certain planar random growth proces
 ses defined in\nterms of iteration of conformal maps. The models I will co
 nsider differ from\nthe usual Hastings-Levitov models of aggregation in th
 at preferred\ndirections in the growth are present.\n\nI will discuss both
  global rescalings and small-particle scaling limits\, and\nI will indicat
 e how the limit objects that arise can be described using the\nLoewner equ
