DESCRIPTION:Spinorial geometry techniques can be used to classify the near
-horizon geometries of supersymmetric black holes in String/M-theory. I wi
ll illustrate this by presenting the classification of near horizon geomet
ries in IIB supergravity coupled to a non-zero self-dual 5-form. The resul
ting geometries are generically described by a restricted Calabi-Yau with
(hidden) torsion structure. Examples of such solutions will be considered\
, including a large class of AdS solutions.\n
