DESCRIPTION:Professor Barbara Sahakian is a leading member of the Cambridg
 e University Department of Psychiatry\, as well as the Behavioural and Cli
 nical Neuroscience Institute\, Cambridge Centre for Brain Repair and the W
 olfson Brain Imaging Centre. She will be visiting Lucy Cavendish College t
 o discuss Neuropsychiatry in the 21st Century\, encompassing her own parti
 cular research interests.\n \nAs well as  talking about women in neuroscie
 nce Professor Sahakian will speak about her work on the neural basis of co
 gnitive\, emotional and behavioural  dysfunction in order to develop more 
 effective pharmacological and psychological treatments\, and neuropsycholo
 gical tests\, such as the  CANTAB tests\, which she co-invented.  \n\nThis
  talk is one of a programme of free events run by Lucy Cavendish College w
