DESCRIPTION:The talk will illustrate how both the crystal structures and m
 olecular conformations of energetic materials (explosives and propellants)
  can be modified using elevated pressures and through co-crystallisation w
 ith other molecules.  These studies provide a means not only of understand
 ing how these materials respond to the extreme conditions experienced duri
 ng detonation\, but also provide a route to the discovery and isolation of
  new crystalline forms with enhanced properties.
