DESCRIPTION:H-projective geometry is a complex analogue of projective geom
etry in which the projective connection is not assumed holomorphic. It int
eracts with Kahler geometry in numerous ways\, which have been studied by\
ndifferent authors\, often independently and with different motivations.\n
\nThe aim of this talk is to introduce the topic and draw some of these th
 reads together\, including hamiltonian 2-forms\, Tanno equations\, H-proje
ctive equivalence\, holonomy of Cartan connections\, almost Kahler geometr
y of 4-manifolds\, and quaternionic geometry of (co)tangent\nbundles.
