DESCRIPTION:A great deal of progress has been made in computing scattering
  amplitudes in 4d quantum field theories by expressing the amplitudes in t
 erms of variables known as twistors. In this talk\, I will describe twisto
 rial methods for computing scattering amplitudes in 3d quantum field theor
 ies\, in particular superconformal Chern-Simons theories and supersymmetri
 c Yang-Mills theories. These methods have led to the discovery of new symm
 etries and dualities in 3d quantum field theories.\n
