DESCRIPTION:The Standard Model would be completed by the Higgs boson\, who
 se discovery at the LHC may be imminent. However\, in this talk I will arg
 ue that\, even in its absence\, we can be sure that there must be physics 
 beyond the Standard Model. Leading options include composite models of ele
 ctroweak symmetry breaking and supersymmetry\, and this talk will review s
 ome of their possible experimental signatures.
