DESCRIPTION:Since the first observation of high mobility electron gas at L
aAlO3 (LAO) and SrTiO3 (STO) interface in 2004\, the research on complex o
xide heterostructures have been fertile for its potential electronic appli
cations. It has also been diverging to other physical phenomena to electri
 c field tunable superconductivity\, metal-insulator transition\, and coexi
stence of superconductivity and ferromagnetism. In this talk\, I will intr
oduce what we have recently observed in a LAO/STO heterostructure via pers
istent photoconductivity effect following a brief overview of this researc
h area. We are able to stablise the high mobility two dimensional HOLE gas
at the surface in coexistence with an electron gas at the interface. A se
ries of Shubnikov-de Haas oscillations in various gate voltages allows to
see the hole gas with a density of 3x10^11 cm^-2 and a mobility of 10\,00
 0 cm^2/Vs.
