DESCRIPTION:In this talk\, an introduction to keV sterile neutrinos as Dar
 k Matter particles is\ngiven. After reviewing the cosmological aspects of 
 (Warm) Dark Matter\, I will\nexplain why the topic is interesting for part
 icle physics model building and also\npoint out the differences to ordinar
 y neutrino model building. We will go through a\ncouple of generic models\
 , all of which yield interesting and fundamental connections\nbetween the 
 neutrino and the Dark Matter sectors. We finally present some\nalternative
  ideas and generalizations.
