DESCRIPTION:From the relative simplicity of an onshore vertical gas-produc
 ing well that has almost pure methane flowing with a very small proportion
  of water\, through\nto the complexity of a subsea oil production system t
 hat has inclined wells and long\, large diameter pipelines at high pressur
 e carrying oil\, gas and larger proportions of water\, the understanding o
 f two-phase/multiphase flow is key to successful design and operation.  Th
 e talk will describe a range of issues in the behaviour of flow and fluids
 \, and show examples from modelling to the collection of field data.
