DESCRIPTION:Fusion appears to be scientifically possible.  JET at Cuham ha
 s produced 16MW of fusion power and ITER\, which is being constructed in F
 rance\, is expected to produce about 500MW of fusion power.  However the e
 ngineering challenges of a reactor system are formidable.  I will discuss 
 the major issues that must be resolved and the possible solutions.
