 ly this is above ~ 20kHz. Ultrasonic waves can travel in solids\, liquids 
 and gases and are used for investigative\, diagnostic and inspection purpo
 ses. The presentation will cover the history and development of ultrasonic
  testing for medical and industrial use\, plus recent innovations and fact
 ors affecting performance.
