DESCRIPTION:A brief overview of some of the issues that arise in the makin
g of grading decisions for General Qualifications\, some of which are desi
gned for international use. What are we trying to align with what in gradi
ng? Do we really have more than one aim\, and if so\, do they conflict and
what do we then do about it? Given that we are using multiple sources of
evidence\, how do we prioritise when different indicators suggest differen
t outcomes? How far does practice vary internationally and why? What addit
ional issues arise if our results reporting consists of more than just a s
 yllabus/specification grade?\n\nAdditional date: 23 October | 10.30-12.30
