DESCRIPTION:The company ARRI is one of the worlds leading manufacturers of
  digital motion picture cameras. In this talk I will present a variety of 
 challenges we face in processing raw video data to the final images we see
  in the cinema. The processing chain that converts the high dynamic range 
 Bayer data to images a human observer perceives as a realistic view of the
  scene will be discussed with a special focus on its effect on image proce
 ssing problems such as denoising or inpainting. It will be demonstrated wh
 y research on data domain specific algorithms is crucial to obtain optimal
  image reconstruction results.
